My All-Time Favorite Children's Books

I have four kids (two boys, two girls) and have been a parent for over thirteen years, and as such I have read many, many children's books. There are some I like, some that are ok, and some that I try to hide so that I don't have to read it again for the millionth time.

There are also some that I love, and even after all of these years of reading them to my kids, I am still not tired of them. There are also some that all my kids have loved. Here is a list of our favorites!

Encanto 5th Birthday Party

For my daughter's 5th birthday, she wanted an Encanto themed party. Back then, "We Don't Talk About Bruno" was by far the most played song in our house, and all the kids had caught the bug of Encanto. Since her favorite character was Isabella, I made her an Isabella cake using an Isabella Barbie-type doll, buttercream, cut out fondant flowers and dress top, and rice paper flowers from Michael's. For food for her party, we had raspberry lemonade served in these cute butterfly cups I found on Amazon: We also had some of  my daughter's favorite foods, like quesadillas, fruit tray, Pirate's booty, yogurt covered flower cookies from Trader Joe's, and watermelon cut into flower shapes with a cookie cutter: For decorations, I bought these cardboard flowers and placed them around the house to give a vibe like Isabella had been spreading her magic around. I also bought some little wooden butterflies that my daughter had fun painting and we also put those around...
